Steps for Credential Renewal

Step 1: Complete and submit the TECPAC Renewal Application, the TECTA Student Information Form, and the TECPAC Professional Contributions Checklist (forms are located on the right). The Student Information Form is specific to each TECTA site. Please complete the form for the TECTA site where you originally applied for your Credential.

 

Step 2: Submit copies of the following documents:

  • Transcripts of new college coursework completed (for the Provisional level) or documentation of clock hours of job-specific professional development (for the Standard level)
  • A copy of annual membership card(s) for an early a childhood professional organization
  • Professional Contributions Checklist: Proof of professional contributions: one contribution if you are renewing at the Provisional level and three contributions if you are renewing at the Standard level

Step 3: I will review and verify all documents. You will be contacted by phone or email if further verification is needed.

 

Step 4: I will contact you to schedule a PAS or BAS post assessment visit.

 

Step 5: Following the review of your documents and your post assessment, you will receive an email notification that your Credential has been renewed.
